Loving the duds!
So, the blog has been giving me some troubles; especially uploading photos. I attribute it to the fact it is jealous I was up for my Grammy. In either case, I’m trying to outsmart it so I can get back to blogging more faithfully. I enjoy it and it makes for a wonderful and creative outlet for some pent up stress.
Stress? In the realms of motherhood? Of course anyone who would disagree is apparently not a mother in the midst of raising children.
We’ve entered the temper-tantrum stage...
Did I mention I’m thrilled about this?-- I didn’t--on purpose. Somehow, that great God of ours figured out a way to deliver my stubborn-saturated DNA into that sweet princess of daughter of mine. He has a sense of humor and also may have thought it was time for my own mother to have a laugh or two. Rumor has it I could be difficult. Unheard of!
Anyway, we’re going to get through this stage. (I gotta keep telling myself that for sanity purposes.) In the mean time, I’m relishing many interesting things along the way including:
1.“We don’t lick the television.”
2. “We don’t have to stand ON the toilet to use it.”
3.“Don’t drink milk if it’s turned red!”
4.“Dehydrated blueberries will rehydrate in a nasal cavity”.
~Oh, and we learned AGAIN not to stuff too much "toilie pape" (toilet paper) down the hole, even if it will flush. Granted it may take a few extra plunges on the handle, but truth is, our toilet is an amazing freak-of-nature that could swallow an elephant. I got the pleasure/reminder of this when I opened the capped vent in the yard and unleashed Old-Faithful. ~ Shooting up in the air like an excited firecracker and raining down its confetti of joy...all over me...
I love learning lessons. Almost as much as I love sharing consequences. But that’s another blog entry.
